Ariana Grande’s signature hairstyle is a super high ponytail, a style she has rocked for a number of years.
The iconic ponytail is so famous in its own right that when the pop star switched things up to a low ponytail, her fans lost their minds.
While the luscious long ponytail may look like an effortless ‘do, it’s not so simple for the 25 year old and it actually leaves her in constant pain.
After fellow pop singer Camilla Cabello was inspired by Ariana to try her own version of the tight up ‘do, she quizzed the Breathin’ singer on how she copes with it.
Camilla tweeted: “I just did a high ponytail for the first time and it is literally pulling on my BRAIN ITS SO PAINFUL HOW DO YOU DO IT @ArianaGrande.”
And Camilla found the style so painful she ended up taking it out.
After reaching out to Ariana for advice, Pete Davidson’s ex-fiancée revealed she too is left in constant pain from the style.
She replied: “Well u actually have hair so that prolly makes it a lil more painful…. nah jk I’m in constant pain always and don’t care at all [sic].”
Camilla then responded, making a reference to her pal’s new single: “I had to take it off #thankunext.”
Ariana has rocked the ponytail since 2014 when she explained it was the only style that hid her broken strands that were damaged from bleach.
She later told Byrdie she stuck with the style because “it brings me so much joy”.
