Love Island’s Frankie Foster confessed he was “silly” to bunk in the same hotel room as two other women and confessed he “didn’t think” about girlfriend Samira Mighty during his antics, while she remained blissfully unaware in the reality show villa.
The 22 year old spoke exclusively to OK! Online about his rumoured cheating, which came after he was booted out of the ITV2 matchmaking series in an unexpected dumping.
Samira, also 22, was left devastated at the gym owner’s shock eviction, and decided to ditch her place on the show for a stab at their future in the outside world.
Yet while she exited to the sight of her other-half at the airport waiting for her, their reunion was bittersweet when she came to hear of his behaviour.
Frankie, who was first to tell us the pair are now “fine” after making peace with the incident, said the allegations had ironically worked some part in his favour.
Frankie, who splits his time between his home in Cheltenham and Samira’s London pad, told us of the night in question: “It was a silly thing to do.
“Anyone with a girlfriend knows it’s not a good idea and it’s not a nice thing to do.
“I didn’t put her in a very comfortable position and it’s not that I have done anything terribly wrong but it’s the fact I haven’t thought of her in that situation which I think wound her up.
“It’s the fact I haven’t thought s**t maybe she wouldn’t want me to do this, so even if I am not doing it, it’s going to look bad.
“We have got through that hiccup and we’ve had a tricky situation early on and we have got through it, so there is some positive in that.”
Meanwhile the fitness fan told us how the pair are taking things slowly, living their romantic lives as if they hadn’t been on the show.
It comes as many of their co-stars, including Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, revealed their plans to move in together.
