And it looks like everyone is giving pigs in blankets an upgrade this year, with Aldi selling a footlong version of the Christmas classic ahead of 25 December.

Tesco has also launched a variation of the popular Christmas snack, selling a round sausage-filled masterpiece known as pigs in duvets for just £5.

Costa suggest eating their Cup Croissant with Nutella alongside a nice cup of flat white coffee – think of it like a palette cleanser for all that melted chocolate.
