Amid the rumours that Andrew and Caroline had reunited, stand in host Anne Diamond asked the former Apprentice star to set the record straight.
However, the reality star who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, refused to divulge whether the reports were true or false.
Instead, Andrew said: “My private life is private and that’s what I’d like to keep it as really.
“Relationships can be hard and when you’re scrutinised in the public eye, they’re somewhat even more troubling but yeah I’m keeping my private life private obviously.”
Realising that she wasn’t going to get the response she was looking for, Anne declared: “That means you’re not answering my question.”
Agreeing that he wasn’t going to give an insight into his life with Caroline, Andrew remarked: “Yes exactly. I am dodging your question and I’m going to keep dodging until 11.15.”
Pointing out that he had previously put details about his private life in the public eye before, Anne commented: “Even though I so carefully underlined you are famous now and so is she, can you really expect your private life to be utterly private?”
Believing that he was right to withhold the information, Caroline’s ex simply replied: “I think so yeah.”
Whilst Andrew stayed schtum on his personal life with Caroline, Christine Lampard was already making plans to help the TV presenter move on.
During an appearance on Lorraine, Dr Alex George revealed what he thought of the Love Island host: “Caroline’s brilliant, she’s absolutely lovely. I can’t see a future for us together.
“Sadly I don’t think she’ll recouple with me, but one can always dream. I’d be too shy [to ask her], I’m too scared.”
Revealing that she was happy to lend a helping hand, the TV presenter who is seven months pregnant with her first child, quipped: “I’m not, I’ll ask her! I’ll text her afterwards, ‘Caroline…’.”
